Piano and Guitar teacher
Jack is a life-long lover of music. Studying composition, piano and guitar at University of California at Santa Barbara, he has worked as a teacher in a variety of settings, from high school band director, to city college adjunct and others. But his favorite mode of teaching is through private lessons, which can be tailored to the individual student to help them lay a solid foundation and move forward with developing their skills, understanding and love of music.
Classical, jazz, rock and blues are the styles that he enjoys teaching the most, and he loves to see the benefits of learning music from a variety of approaches, in order to better understand music as a whole.
